How many people can stay in one room?
We allow a maximum of three people per room. For parents travelling with young children who wish to share a room, please contact the Lodge.
Is there a separate bathroom?
In addition to the roll top baths for you to soak in, all our rooms have an ensuite shower and toilet, as well as a large dressing room with double vanities.
Do you have Wi-Fi in the rooms?
The hotel has complimentary Wi-Fi in all the guest rooms and throughout the hotel.
Do you have interconnecting rooms for families?
There are no interconnecting rooms at Gangtey Lodge, however, as there are only 3 rooms per shared corridor, we place families in adjacent rooms which allows families to have greater privacy.

Spectacular
I visited Gangtey with my wife and two children. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the turndown service, with a hot water bottle, a roaring fire, and little noise made for a glorious night of sleep.
All time favorite
Arriving to this glorious hotel with very few rooms, the entire team waits to greet you with warmth and a song. The rooms are exquisite. The service is of another level. All of our clothes that were dirty from trekking, were washed and left upon our bed with care.
Very Special
Rooms overlook the Phobjikha Valley with ever changing light sweeping across the fields and hills from dawn to dusk. From heated floors, to the in-suite fireplace to the hot water bottles, we were super toasty our entire stay. High thread count sheets, luxury amenities, rainforest shower and claw foot tub with a great view.
